The Perfect Summer Maternity Outfit

So you got pregnant and instantly hit baby excitement until you realized… Crap! Im going to be pregnant all summer long, how in the world am I going to survive!? At least that was the process I went through after realizing that this baby and I are going to share the hottest birthday month of the year. AUGUST! I quickly made a mental list of all of my must haves to survive this pregnancy and I’m about to share one with you. Introducing the perfect maternity summer outfit that is sure to keep you cool + comfortable – even with your growing belly and CUTE Thanks to Pink blush maternity!

If there is one thing that I have learned 2 now 3 pregnancies in, its that “if its tight, it ain’t right!”. That is sort of a joke… but not really. There is nothing more uncomfortable than tight clothes, really in general but especially when you’re pregnant, let alone pregnant in the middle of summer! Having pieces that make up the perfect maternity summer outfit that you can mix and match is a must have. So lets get down to the details shall we?! Pink Blush Maternity is always a go to for me when I’m pregnant. They are really reasonable in price and always offer cute comfortable pieces. One of my go to’s this summer that included in the perfect summer maternity outfit are these Blue linen foldover waistband maternity shorts. The waistband is super stretchy and just lays on your belly or waist making it easy to move around and just all around super comfy, while the linen short gives enough airflow (Cause you know you need that), structure and did I mention that they are super soft?! These shorts are so good and can be dressed up or dressed down.

I paired the Linen foldover waistband short with a simple blush ruched tank maternity top that is also super soft, comfy and versatile. Versatility is key when building your perfect summer maternity outfit. I typically gravitate towards simple tops that can be worn with several different ways, this blush top would fall into that  category. Throw a simple hat and some accessories, some clogs or white tennis shoes and you are good to go!!

Like I said earlier, Versatility is key when building your maternity capsule. 2 pieces should turn into 3 outfits in stead of just 1. At least, thats how I love to shop! Here’s a few ways that I styled these two pieces…

Thank you Pink Blush maternity for providing me with one of the perfect summer maternity outfits! Now go out and get yours!!
